Compensation:
Base Rate Range: $20/hr - $30/hr
Annual Profit Sharing Estimate: $4,160 - $6,240
Salary is contingent upon experience, expertise, and interview performance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Direct and inspire the electrical assembly team in the production of power supplies for various legacy projects, ground testing apparatus, PCB, cabling, and wire harness designs according to specifications and blueprints.
- Assist in the inspection and testing of assembled products to ensure quality and functionality.
- Provide support in troubleshooting assembly issues.
- Establish schedules and delegate project responsibilities to guarantee timely delivery.
- Manage the submission of work orders and maintain documentation procedures.
- Lead the assembly of projects involving connectors with over 145 pins efficiently.
- Train and guide team members in interpreting blueprints for cable and harness assembly, including end connector installation, continuity pin testing, and heat shrink applications.
- Support or instruct in the use of precision measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, and gauges.
- Assist in PCB assembly, including soldering ICs, resistors, diodes, transistors, and capacitors.
- Provide hands-on support as necessary and maintain strong communication to address technical inquiries on the production floor.
- Effectively interpret blueprints, drawings, and assembly instructions for the assembly team.
- Engage in leadership meetings, implement production enhancements, and support lean manufacturing initiatives.
- Oversee full assembly production ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations and standards.
Qualifications:
- A minimum of 4 years of experience as a lead in Electrical Assembly is essential.
- At least 6 years of experience in electrical assembly, PCB, cabling, wire harness, and routing wire is required.
- 6+ years of experience in Aerospace, EV, or Medical industries is preferred.
- Demonstrated success in a multidisciplinary product design environment is advantageous.
- Familiarity with IPC Standards and J standards is required; certification is preferred.
