Job Summary

This appointment will be in the Pediatric Radiology Fellowship Program, providing advanced training in Pediatric Radiology. The fellowship subspecialty training will enable graduates to independently practice diagnostic imaging specifically for the care of pediatric patients from the fetus through 18 years of age.

Responsibilities
  • Supervised interpretation of fundamental and complex diagnostic imaging for children in all modalities, with provision of diagnostic imaging reports, to include review of patient charts and other relevant information as it relates to imaging interpretation.
  • Participation in routine communications and consultations with referring providers.
  • Regular participation in pediatric multidisciplinary conferences.
  • Guidance of imaging technologists during image acquisition.
  • Preparation for fluoroscopic and percutaneous procedures, including obtaining patient/family consent.
  • Supervising and teaching junior learners such as radiology residents and medical students.
Work Environment

Work will be carried out primarily at the University of Wisconsin American Family Children's Hospital, with a minority of work provided at UnityPoint Health-Meriter Hospital.
