Job Title: Pediatric Radiology Nurse

We are seeking a highly skilled Pediatric Radiology Nurse to join our team at Children's Wisconsin. As a Pediatric Radiology Nurse, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care and support to children undergoing imaging procedures.

Job Summary:

The Pediatric Radiology Nurse will work closely with our interdisciplinary team to ensure the highest level of care for our patients. This includes assessing patients prior to procedures, providing nursing care during imaging procedures, and collaborating with physicians and other healthcare professionals to develop comprehensive plans of care.

Responsibilities:
  • Assess patients prior to imaging procedures and develop individualized plans of care
  • Provide nursing care during imaging procedures, including administering medications and monitoring patient vital signs
  • Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to develop comprehensive plans of care
  • Communicate effectively with patients and families to ensure their needs are met
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and safety
Requirements:
  • Graduate of an accredited school of nursing with an ADN or BSN
  • Current RN licensure in the State of Wisconsin
  • Experience in pediatric nursing, preferably in a radiology or imaging setting
  • Knowledge of pediatric growth and development, as well as child and family responses to illness and hospitalization
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks
