Job Summary

The Human Resource Coordinator is an entry-level position that plays a vital role in facilitating the human resource processes for all store locations at Roses Discount Stores. This role is responsible for ensuring that plans are administered in accordance with federal and state regulations and that plan provisions are followed.

Key Responsibilities
  • Compliance and Administration: Completes E-Verification of Forms I-9, verifies I-9 documentation, and maintains I-9 files.
  • Team Relations: Performs team relations functions by answering phone calls and reporting employee concerns and complaints.
  • Recruitment Support: Assists with recruitment through Indeed job posting and candidate messaging.
  • HR Program Audits: Conducts audits of HR programs and recommends a course of action.
  • Special Projects: Completes any additional special projects assigned by the VP of HR.
Required Skills and Abilities
  • Excellent Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Interpersonal and Customer Service Skills: Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
  • Organizational and Time Management Skills: Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail, with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
  • Adaptability: Ability to function well in a high-paced and at times stressful environment.
  • Technical Skills: Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
Education and Experience
  • Education: High School Diploma or GED required.
  • Experience: At least two years related experience preferred.
Physical Requirements
  • Prolonged Sitting and Computer Work: Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
  • Lifting: Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.
