Job Overview

As an Automotive Vehicle Service Manager at Big O Tires - Hamilton, you will oversee the daily operations of the vehicle service shop, ensuring optimal efficiency, economy, and profit maximization. This role reports directly to the Store Manager and is responsible for managing the shop's workflow, inventory, and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities
  • Work Schedule: Availability to work Monday-Saturday, with a designated day off during the week.
  • Shop Management: Direct and manage the daily operations of the vehicle service shop, adhering to company goals and objectives.
  • Inventory Management: Monitor inventory levels to prevent shrinkage, order and receive supplies as needed, and maintain a clean and organized workspace.
  • Repair Order Management: Estimate repair orders, deliver them to sales personnel, and ensure accurate and timely completion of work orders.
  • Customer Service: Provide exceptional customer service, ensuring customer satisfaction and loyalty.
  • Compliance and Safety: Ensure compliance with OSHA and Federal and State Environmental Regulations, maintaining a safe working environment for employees and customers.
Requirements
  • Education: High school diploma or equivalency certificate is preferred.
  • Experience: Experience in the automotive industry is preferred.
  • Language Skills: Ability to read, write, and speak English; Spanish speaking is a plus.
  • Computer Skills: Good computer skills, with the ability to use company hardware and software.
  • Driver's License: Valid driver's license is required.
  • Teamwork: Ability to work well with others, maintaining a positive and collaborative work environment.
