We are seeking a skilled Mammography Technologist to join our team at Inova. As a key member of our radiology department, you will play a critical role in delivering high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our organization.
Key Responsibilities- Administer sound patient care practices according to hospital and department policies/procedures to ensure patient safety.
- Complete ancillary tasks to ensure efficient and consistent departmental operations.
- Demonstrate radiation protection/safety for patients, staff, and self as outlined in department protocols and regulatory guidelines.
- Maintain equipment, exam rooms, and work areas in a neat and safe condition to ensure patient and team member safety.
- Provide clinical services according to radiology practice standards while acting as a resource to radiology students and other technologists.
- Certifications: Radiologic Technologist - Mammography within 12 months of hire, Basic Life Support upon start, American Registered Radiologic Technologists upon start, Radiologic Technologist-Mammo ARRT 12 months upon acceptance of the offer.
- Licensure: Licensed Radiologic Technologist Within 12 Months - required for all INOVA nonhospital Licensed centers, but not required if working onsite at an Inova Hospital.
- Experience: None required.
- Education: Vocational / Technical Radiology - Graduate of an accredited school of radiography, AART required.
