About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Mammography Technologist to join our team at Inova Health System. As a key member of our radiology team, you will be responsible for administering high-quality patient care practices, ensuring the safety of patients, and maintaining equipment and exam rooms in a neat and safe condition.

Responsibilities
  • Administer sound patient care practices according to hospital and department policies/procedures to ensure the safety of patients.
  • Complete ancillary tasks to ensure efficient and consistent departmental operations.
  • Demonstrate radiation protection/safety for patients, staff, and self as outlined in department protocols and regulatory guidelines.
  • Maintain equipment, exam rooms, and work areas in a neat and safe condition to ensure the safety of patients and team members.
  • Provide clinical services according to radiology practice standards while acting as a resource to radiology students and other technologists to ensure optimal department functions.
Requirements
  • Radiologic Technologist - Mammography certification within 12 months of hire.
  • Basic Life Support certification upon start.
  • American Registered Radiologic Technologists certification upon start.
  • Radiologic Technologist-Mammo ARRT certification within 12 months of hire.
  • Licensed Radiologic Technologist within 12 months required for all INOVA nonhospital Licensed centers, but not required if working onsite at an Inova Hospital.
