Job Summary

An experienced technologist is required to provide diagnostic procedures that utilize equipment producing ionizing radiation. The successful candidate will assist patients through the mammogram process while utilizing low-dose X-ray imaging equipment to view the breast. Radiation safety measures and protection devices will be used to comply with government regulations and ensure the safety of patients and staff. The technologist will be required to float to other modalities/areas in the diagnostic services department to meet patient care needs.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor's or Associate's degree in Radiology required or completion of an accredited radiology technology program.
  • 2 years of Mammography experience required.
  • Licensed Radiographer in the state of practice required.
  • American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) certification required.
  • American Registry of Radiologic Technologists Certification in Mammography required.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
