Key Responsibilities
  • Program Development: Design and implement programs that align with the organization's mission and goals, ensuring a safe and supportive environment for youth.
  • Program Implementation: Lead activities, events, and workshops that promote youth development, including art, athletics, and academics.
  • Program Evaluation: Monitor and evaluate program effectiveness, making adjustments as needed to ensure high-quality services.
  • Supervision and Guidance: Provide supervision and guidance to youth, promoting positive relationships and a sense of belonging.
  • Volunteer Management: Supervise and train volunteers, ensuring they are equipped to support program activities.
  • Communication and Collaboration: Communicate effectively with staff, volunteers, and stakeholders, fostering a collaborative environment that promotes youth development.
  • Administrative Tasks: Complete administrative tasks, including record-keeping, reporting, and budgeting, as required.
Requirements
  • Education and Experience: High school diploma or equivalent, with a minimum of two years of college experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Knowledge and Skills: Knowledge of youth development principles, practices, and theories, as well as excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
  • Certifications and Licenses: Valid driver's license, CPR, and First Aid certifications, with a negative TB test result.
Working Conditions

The successful candidate will be required to work in a fast-paced environment, with frequent interruptions and varying work schedules. The position involves lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods, as well as working in indoor and outdoor environments.
