Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Clinical Pharmacist to join our team at Intermountain Health American Fork Hospital. As a key member of our pharmacy team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality pharmaceutical care to our patients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide accurate and timely medication information to healthcare professionals and patients
  • Oversee the preparation and delivery of medications to care areas, ensuring secure and efficient storage
  • Supervise and mentor pharmacy staff to maintain accuracy and quality of pharmaceutical services
  • Participate in multidisciplinary teams to provide therapeutic recommendations and alternatives
  • Monitor physician orders and patient responses to ensure safe and effective medication use
Requirements
  • Current license as a Pharmacist in the state of Utah
  • Controlled substance license
  • Basic Life Support Certification (BLS) for healthcare providers
  • Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) Certification
  • Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) Certification
  • Current knowledge of state and federal regulations regarding pharmacy practice and medication distribution
Preferred Qualifications
  • Doctor of Pharmacy degree from an accredited college of pharmacy
  • Three years of experience in an institutional pharmacy environment
Work Environment

This position will work at American Fork Hospital, with a schedule that includes working every 4th weekend and 2 holidays per year. Additional hours will be on a PRN basis.
