Job Summary

The Clinical Pharmacist will provide expert pharmaceutical care to patients, ensuring safe and effective medication use. This role requires a strong understanding of pharmacology, patient assessment, and medication therapy management.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement medication therapy plans to optimize patient outcomes
  • Provide accurate and timely medication information to healthcare professionals and patients
  • Monitor and evaluate patient response to medications, identifying potential adverse effects and making recommendations for adjustments
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to provide comprehensive patient care
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest pharmacological research and guidelines to ensure evidence-based practice
Requirements
  • Current license as a Pharmacist in the state of practice
  • Controlled substance license
  • Basic Life Support Certification (BLS) for healthcare providers
  • Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) Certification
  • Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) Certification
  • Current knowledge of state and federal regulations and statutes regarding the practice of pharmacy
Preferred Qualifications
  • Doctor of Pharmacy degree from an accredited college of pharmacy
  • Three years of experience in an institutional pharmacy environment
