Key Responsibilities- Coordinate with shippers, carriers, and internal teams to manage transportation arrangements from pre-pickup to delivery.
- Exercise discretion and independent judgment in booking carriers, negotiating rates, and resolving issues related to claims, detention, OS&D, layovers, and breakdowns.
- Maintain accurate updates on carrier assignments and provide exceptional customer service to our brokerage customers.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with carriers to ensure efficient and reliable transportation services.
- Collaborate with the logistics team to achieve operational goals and objectives.
- Perform other duties as assigned by management.
- Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
- Previous experience in customer service and/or logistics is preferred.
- Knowledge of the trucking industry is a plus.
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
