  • Room Inspections: Conduct daily room inspections to ensure cleanliness and quality standards are met.
  • Staff Management: Recruit, train, and develop housekeeping staff, ensuring they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their duties.
  • Inventory Management: Maintain accurate inventory levels of housekeeping supplies and equipment.
  • Guest Services: Ensure exceptional guest service by responding promptly to guest requests and resolving any issues that may arise.
  • Communication: Maintain open and effective communication with other departments, including front desk, engineering, and maintenance.
  • Quality Control: Conduct regular quality control checks to ensure housekeeping standards are met.
  • Training and Development: Provide ongoing training and development opportunities for housekeeping staff to enhance their skills and knowledge.
Requirements
  • Experience: At least 5 years of progressive experience in a hotel or a related field, or a 2-year college degree and 3 or more years of related experience.
  • Supervisory Experience: Supervisory experience is required.
  • Education: A 2-year college degree or equivalent experience.
  • Skills: Proficiency in Windows operating systems, Company-approved spreadsheets, and word processing.
  • Certifications: Valid driver's license for the applicable state, and certifications in CPR and First Aid.
