Job Summary

Telecare Corporation is seeking a skilled Housekeeper to join our team at the Garfield Neurobehavioral Center. As a Housekeeper, you will play a vital role in maintaining the cleanliness and organization of our facility, ensuring a safe and healthy environment for our residents and staff.

Key Responsibilities
  • Clean and service building areas, including floors, furniture, and fixtures
  • Perform a variety of housekeeping duties to maintain the facility in an orderly, sanitary, and attractive condition
  • Operate cleaning equipment and supplies, including vacuums, mops, and disinfectants
  • Restock cleaning supplies and equipment as needed
  • Assist with the management of assaultive behavior upon request by clinical staff
Requirements
  • One year of relevant experience in hotel, motel, health care, or a similar work environment
  • Ability to read, write, and speak English in order to follow written and verbal directions
  • CPR, Crisis Prevention Institute (CPI), and First Aid certification
  • Valid driver's license and proof of auto insurance (if applicable)
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience in a health care setting
  • High school graduation or G.E.D. equivalent

The Garfield Neurobehavioral Center is a 56-bed Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF) providing medical, nursing, and rehabilitative services to individuals with neurobehavioral illnesses and mental health conditions. As a Housekeeper, you will work in a fast-paced environment with a diverse team of professionals dedicated to providing high-quality care to our residents.
