Production Control Group Leader

Join Toyota Boshoku America, a leading manufacturer of automotive components, as a Production Control Group Leader. In this critical role, you will oversee the shipping and receiving warehouse operations, ensuring seamless execution of production plans and delivery of high-quality products to our customers.
Key Responsibilities:- Direct and manage a team of team leaders and team members to achieve production goals and targets.
- Implement and maintain the Toyota Production System (TPS) and Production Efficiency (PEFF) system to optimize production processes and reduce waste.
- Develop and maintain standardized work procedures to ensure consistency and efficiency in production operations.
- Monitor and analyze production data to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve production-related issues and ensure timely delivery of products.
- Associate's degree in Business, Manufacturing, or related field required; Bachelor's degree preferred.
- Minimum three years of relevant manufacturing experience, with at least two years of leadership or supervisory experience.
- Working knowledge of TPS and PEFF system, kanban system, and inventory level management.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, multicultural work environment and prioritize activities effectively.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to lead and motivate a team.
The Production Control Group Leader will work in a standard automotive plant environment with moderate noise levels. Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) such as safety glasses, steel toe shoes, and hearing protection may be required in designated areas.
