Research Assistant Policy Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Research Assistant Policy Specialist to join our team at the University of California, San Francisco. The successful candidate will assist the team in performing laboratory and investigative procedures using a wide array of experimental techniques.
Responsibilities will include breeding, screening, and immunizing mice as well as dissecting tissues to obtain cells for culture and analysis of gene expression. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in biology, biochemistry, or a related scientific discipline and experience with experimental animal research.
The Research Assistant Policy Specialist will work closely with the team to develop and implement laboratory procedures and protocols. They will also be responsible for maintaining accurate records and reporting results to the team.
Key qualifications for this position include a bachelor's degree in biology, biochemistry, or a related scientific discipline, or four years of research experience. The successful candidate will also have excellent communication and interpersonal skills and be able to work effectively in a team environment.
Key Responsibilities:

Requirements:
