Patient Care Assistant Responsibilities:

  • As a Patient Care Assistant (PCA), you will support residents with lifting, turning, moving, positioning, and transporting them within the facility.
  • You will aid residents in grooming, enhancing their quality of life, and promoting self-care.
  • You will collaborate with nursing staff to provide comprehensive resident care.
  • You will ensure accurate documentation and timely record-keeping.

Patient Care Assistant Qualifications:

  • Valid nursing assistant certification in the State of Illinois.
  • Prior experience in skilled nursing settings is preferred.
  • No history of abuse records.
  • Ability to read and write effectively.
  • Capability to comprehend and follow both written and verbal instructions.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work well with residents and team members.
