We are seeking a skilled Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our team at The GEO Group, Inc. As a LPN, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality healthcare services to inmates/detainees in a correctional setting.
Key Responsibilities- Work collaboratively with our Registered Nurse (RN) to develop and implement individualized care plans
- Conduct thorough physical assessments and medical histories
- Administer medications and provide nursing care within your scope of practice
- Evaluate patient symptoms, reactions, and progress, and report any concerns to management
- Document all detainee/inmate contacts and maintain confidentiality of medical records
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing
- Current, unrestricted license to practice as a LPN in the state where the facility is located
- Two (2) years of direct work experience as a LPN preferred
- Ability to work without direct supervision and provide appropriate follow-through treatment
- Valid state driver's license (Oklahoma State Requirement)
