Key Responsibilities:
  • Cleaning Equipment Maintenance: Ensure all cleaning equipment is in good working condition and schedule repairs as needed.
  • Department Budget Management: Adhere to the department budget, oversee inventory, and order cleaning supplies.
  • Staff Supervision: Hire and train housekeeping staff to perform cleaning duties and deliver customer satisfaction to our expectations.
  • Area Monitoring: Keep a record of areas cleaned by room attendants and make a note of any issues such as room damage or maintenance requests.
  • Department Operations: Monitor all daily operations of the housekeeping department, including the cleanliness of all guest rooms and public areas daily.
Requirements:
  • Environmental Services Expertise: Extensive knowledge of environmental services (EVS), including detailed cleaning processes and a wide range of cleaning supplies and equipment.
  • Leadership Experience: The ideal applicant is an experienced leader who demonstrates great attention to detail and customer service skills.
  • Senior Role Experience: At least 3 years of experience in a senior role in the housekeeping department.
  • Hospitality Experience: 2+ years of hospitality or guest services experience.
  • Education: Must have a high school diploma or the equivalent (GED).
