Resort Operations Manager

The Rooms Supervisor is responsible for the daily operation of the resort Housekeeping and Guest Services departments. This includes overseeing administrative, accounting, property guest service, property housekeeping, associate development, and other functions as required for the two disciplines. The Rooms Supervisor will ensure the successful implementation and performance of these departments, meeting the needs of owners and covering varying schedules, forecasts, and staffing levels.
Key Performance Indicators:
This role will ensure proper staffing and scheduling for maximum productivity, control payroll costs to achieve maximum profitability, and communicate priorities to staff through daily and weekly meetings. The Rooms Supervisor will also ensure guest satisfaction levels meet the goals for the site, identify areas of process improvement to ensure efficient processing for the team and guest, and manage strict room inventory to achieve the highest possible room occupancy percentage.
Requirements:
Strong leadership skills, strategic thinking, 2 to 5 years of hotel/resort experience, excellent communication skills, and proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook are required for this role. The Rooms Supervisor will also be responsible for managing and supporting all financial aspects of the department, preparing annual department budgets, and maintaining cost control and appearance of retail inventory.
