Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Insurance Senior Examiner to join our team at the Arkansas Government Job. As a key member of our finance division, you will be responsible for conducting complex financial insurance examinations, analyzing company financial data, and ensuring compliance with state and federal laws.

Key Responsibilities
  • Examine assets, liabilities, income, and expense items contained in insurance entities' financial statements.
  • Review and analyze new, proposed, or revised laws, regulations, policies, and procedures to ensure compliance.
  • Perform financial insurance examinations based on established procedures and policies.
  • Communicate with insurance entities' officers regarding company operations and examination findings.
  • Draft and revise procedures for the finance division as needed to maintain accreditation.
  • Assist in training entry-level examiners.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need a bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, business administration, or a related field, and four years of experience in financial management, insurance company accounting, auditing, or a related area.

You should have knowledge of Arkansas insurance laws, regulations, and bulletins, as well as NAIC guidelines and GAAP principles. Strong analytical and communication skills are essential for this position.
