Job Description:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Scheduler to join our team. The Scheduler will be responsible for creating, updating, and maintaining project schedules using Primavera P6.
The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of horizontal construction projects and a strong background in project scheduling.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain detailed project schedules using Primavera P6.
- Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to gather necessary information for schedule development.
- Monitor project progress and update schedules to reflect changes.
- Identify potential scheduling conflicts and propose solutions to mitigate delays.
- Prepare and distribute regular schedule reports and progress updates to the project team and senior management.
- Ensure compliance with project timelines and contractual requirements.
- Assist in the development of project budgets and resource plans.
- Conduct schedule risk analysis and provide recommendations for schedule improvements.
- Develop schedules for bidding purposes including design build projects.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in project scheduling for horizontal construction projects.
- Proficiency in Primavera P6 is required.
- Strong understanding of construction processes, methodologies, and best practices.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills.
