Job Title: Neonatal Nurse Practitioner

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Neonatal Nurse Practitioner to join our team at Fairfax Neonatal Associates, PC.

About the Role:

The Neonatal Nurse Practitioner will provide high-quality patient care to critically ill and premature infants in our award-winning community hospitals. The ideal candidate will have strong clinical skills, excellent communication skills, and a passion for delivering exceptional patient care.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide clinical services to patients in a timely and professional manner
  • Attend high-risk deliveries and provide newborn well-baby care
  • Perform diagnostic and treatment procedures, including intubation and extubation
  • Assess emergency and continuing care services for premature and critically ill infants
  • Collaborate with the Neonatologist and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement patient care plans
Requirements:
  • Board Certification in Nursing and Board Certified as a Neonatal-Nurse Practitioner
  • VA Nursing license, VA NNP license, DEA Certificate, NRP Certification
  • Ability to lift a maximum of 35lbs
  • Rotation between all hospital sites
  • Patients in various locations and DR coverage require walking and stairs
