Job SummaryWe are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Postdoctoral Research Fellow to join our team in the laboratory of Dr. Paulo Rodriguez. The successful candidate will have a strong background in immunology, molecular biology, and cancer research, and will be responsible for conducting research in the areas of T cell and myeloid cell immunology.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct research in the areas of T cell and myeloid cell immunology, with a focus on understanding the cellular and molecular mechanisms that control leukocyte dysfunction in tumors.
- Develop and implement experimental projects, including the design and execution of experiments, data analysis, and manuscript preparation.
- Collaborate with other researchers and scientists to advance our understanding of cancer biology and to develop new therapeutic strategies.
- Present research findings at academic conferences and publish research in peer-reviewed journals.
- PhD in Immunology or a related field.
- Strong background in molecular biology, cell biology, and cancer research.
- Experience with multi-color flow cytometry, fixed and live cell confocal microscopy, gene silencing and overexpression technologies in primary cells, viral vector generation, OMICs-based approaches, computational biology, and in vivo models of cancer.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
