Job SummaryWe are seeking a highly motivated and talented Postdoctoral Research Fellow to join our team in the Integrated Mathematical Oncology (IMO) Department. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work on an exciting inter-disciplinary research project focused on the Delta Ecology of Non Small Cell Lung Cancer (NSCLC).
Key Responsibilities- Conduct independent research in the field of cancer systems biology, with a focus on mathematical modeling and data analysis.
- Collaborate with a team of researchers and clinicians to develop novel approaches for the treatment and understanding of cancer.
- Present research results on local and national platforms, and publish in quality peer-reviewed scientific journals.
- Build relationships across research disciplines to promote a collaborative research environment.
- PhD in applied mathematics, physics, or a computational discipline.
- Experience in modeling biological systems, with a preference for those with knowledge of cancer.
- Demonstrated creativity, high motivation, good communication skills, and experience in developing/writing publications in quality peer-reviewed scientific journals.
- Ability to work independently and within the research group.
- Preference will be given to candidates with the ability to code (Java/Python/), visualize, and analyze data.

The IMO Department is a unique research environment that integrates mathematicians, computer scientists, and physicists together with evolutionary biologists as well as clinical and experimental oncologists to develop novel approaches for the treatment and understanding of cancer.
