Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced HVAC and Buildings Manager to join our team at Lone Star College. This is a key leadership role that requires a strong background in building automation systems, HVAC operations, and facilities management.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage and maintain building automation systems, including programming and troubleshooting.
  • Oversee HVAC operations, including maintenance, repair, and replacement of equipment.
  • Direct and coordinate department activities, including scheduling and assigning work requests.
  • Develop and implement processes to ensure effective operations of departments.
  • Provide operational leadership, resolve problems, and prepare schedules and deadlines to ensure timely completion of work.
  • Coordinate with other departments to ensure operational effectiveness.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree and 5 years of related work experience, with at least 3 years in a supervisory role.
  • Knowledge of building automation systems, HVAC operations, and facilities management.
  • Ability to set priorities and procedures, problem-solve, and work in a dynamic climate.
  • High degree of judgment and ability to maintain a positive attitude in a demanding work environment.
