Nurse Practitioner

We are seeking a highly skilled Registered Nurse to join our Perioperative team at Holmes Regional Medical Center. As a Registered Nurse in the Operating Room, you will play a critical role in providing exceptional patient care and contributing to the success of our healthcare team.
Key Responsibilities- Provide high-quality patient care in the Operating Room, adhering to the highest standards of professional nursing practice.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure seamless patient care transitions and effective communication.
- Participate in the development and implementation of unit goals and objectives, promoting a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.
- Contribute to the maintenance of a safe and efficient work environment, adhering to hospital policies and procedures.
- Engage in ongoing education and professional development to enhance clinical skills and knowledge.
- Current Florida RN licensure or endorsement.
- Associate Degree in Nursing or Nursing Diploma required; BSN highly preferred.
- Must hold current AHA BLS Healthcare Provider Completion Card prior to start date and maintain certification(s) as required by specific unit.
- Must meet unit-specific care requirements.
- Ability to speak/understand written and verbal instructions in the English language.
- Must have visual acuity and hand-eye coordination to perform clinical tasks.
- Must have corrected vision and hearing to normal range.
- Must be able to lift, turn, pull, push, or ambulate patients/equipment up to 90% of the assigned shift.
- Must be able to lift up to 40 pounds unassisted up to 33% of the assigned shift.
- Must be able to stand, walk, bend, and stoop up to 90% of assigned shift.
