The College of William & Mary, a prestigious institution of higher education, is seeking a highly qualified individual to fill a tenure-track position as an Assistant Professor in Clinical Psychology. This exciting opportunity is part of our ongoing efforts to strengthen our Department of Psychological Sciences and contribute to the advancement of knowledge in the field.
Key Responsibilities:
- Teach undergraduate and graduate courses in Clinical Psychology, including research methods, statistics, and clinical assessment and intervention.
- Conduct research in Clinical Psychology, with a focus on developing and implementing evidence-based interventions for mental health disorders.
- Supervise graduate students in research and clinical training.
- Participate in departmental and university service, including committee work and advising students.
Requirements:
- Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology from an accredited institution.
- Postdoctoral experience in Clinical Psychology, preferably in a research or academic setting.
- Strong research and teaching background, with a focus on Clinical Psychology.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with students, colleagues, and community partners.
