Job Summary

Best Maid Cookie Company is seeking a highly skilled Continuous Improvement Manager to join our team. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for driving process excellence and reliability across our facility.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and Execute Improvement Plans

Design and implement process improvements to enhance production and maintenance operating systems, resulting in increased efficiency and cost savings.

Lead Reliability Initiatives

Develop and manage reliability improvement plans for employees and assets, ensuring optimal performance and minimizing downtime.

Facilitate Training and Development

Lead training programs to support reliability improvement plans, focusing on mindset and skill development for employees.

Support Capital Projects

Provide technical operations support for capital projects, ensuring effective early management and vertical startup.

Drive Cost Improvement Efforts

Lead cost improvement initiatives, focusing on manufacturing and operations, to ensure annual cost target achievement.

Collaborate with Cross-Functional Teams

Serve as a technical liaison between functional groups, including production, maintenance, marketing, sales, R&D, and other facilities.

Requirements
  • Education and Experience

Bachelor's degree in industrial or mechanical engineering, business, or finance, or equivalent experience. 5+ years of experience in manufacturing or engineering, preferably with food packaging and bakery equipment, packaging materials, and related manufacturing systems/processes.

Skills and Competencies

Complex problem-solving and critical thinking skills, leveraging process-driven and root cause mentality. Lean-minded thinker with strong written and verbal communication skills. Strong knowledge of product quality, FDA, OSHA, and EPA regulations.
