Job Summary:

As an Occupational Therapist, you will assess clients/patients/residents and design occupational therapy treatments to help them develop, maintain, and recover their ability to perform daily tasks. You will evaluate physical, cognitive, developmental, and psychosocial abilities and develop realistic therapy goals. You will administer appropriate occupational therapy programs and provide education to enhance understanding and improve functional outcomes.

Responsibilities:

* Assess clients/patients/residents and design occupational therapy treatments
* Evaluate physical, cognitive, developmental, and psychosocial abilities
* Develop realistic therapy goals and administer appropriate occupational therapy programs
* Provide education to enhance understanding and improve functional outcomes

Requirements:

* Appropriate education level required in accordance with state licensure
* Must be licensed in the state(s) of practice as Occupational Therapist
* When working at a Sanford Health Facility, must also be certified through the National Board of Certification in Occupational Therapy (NBCOT)
