Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Occupational Therapist to join our team at the Good Samaritan Society. As an Occupational Therapist, you will play a vital role in helping our clients achieve their goals and improve their quality of life.

Responsibilities
  • Assess clients' physical, cognitive, and behavioral abilities to develop personalized occupational therapy plans
  • Design and implement occupational therapy treatments to help clients develop, maintain, and recover their ability to perform daily tasks
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care and support
  • Document client progress and adjust treatment plans as needed
  • Provide education and training to clients and their families to enhance understanding and improve functional outcomes
Requirements
  • Appropriate education level required in accordance with state licensure
  • Must be licensed in the state(s) of practice as Occupational Therapist
  • When working at a Sanford Health Facility (not required but preferred for GSS Facilities): Must also be certified through the National Board of Certification in Occupational Therapy (NBCOT)
