Occupational Therapist

As an Occupational Therapist with the Good Samaritan Society, you will have the opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of our residents and patients. We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate therapist to join our team in West Union, IA.
Responsibilities- Assess clients/patients/residents and design occupational therapy treatments to help them develop, maintain, and recover their ability to perform daily tasks.
- Conduct evaluations and provide interventions for clients/patients/residents with functional, cognitive, or behavioral impairments.
- Evaluate physical, cognitive, developmental, and psychosocial abilities of clients/patients/residents and develop realistic therapy goals.
- Administer appropriate occupational therapy programs and provide education to clients/patients/residents to enhance their understanding and improve functional outcomes.
- Appropriate education level required in accordance with state licensure.
- Must be licensed in the state(s) of practice as Occupational Therapist.
- Certification through the National Board of Certification in Occupational Therapy (NBCOT) is preferred.
