The individual in this position will undertake a variety of administrative tasks associated with project oversight. Responsibilities include monitoring and documenting project advancements and expenditures, as well as facilitating activities related to the leasing and procurement of manufacturing equipment. The Project Coordination Specialist will act as a conduit between project engineers, production staff, and equipment vendors to ensure accurate data tracking, report generation, and analytical support for management evaluation.
Ideal candidates for this role should demonstrate excellent multitasking skills and a keen eye for detail.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Recording and monitoring proposals and project milestones in collaboration with project engineers
- Creating and revising project financial reports
- Collaborating with personnel from various manufacturing facilities on project-related initiatives
- Maintaining a comprehensive project documentation database and final project records
- Interfacing with suppliers for equipment acquisition
- Overseeing the procurement of spare parts for production facilities
- Negotiating terms with vendors regarding pricing and delivery timelines
- Processing purchase orders and invoices
- Addressing challenges related to project and equipment statuses
- Contributing to project budgeting, scheduling, and documentation
- Traveling to supplier locations and manufacturing sites as necessary
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in business administration or a related discipline
- A minimum of three years of experience in a project administration role
- Experience within a manufacturing environment is preferred
- Familiarity with logistics or supply chain management systems is advantageous
