Construction Quality Assurance Manager

The Construction Quality Control Manager will be responsible for ensuring that all construction projects meet the highest quality standards. This includes creating and managing the Quality Control Plan, reviewing and approving submittals, and communicating with clients and stakeholders. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in construction management and quality control, with experience working on federal construction projects.
Key Responsibilities:
* Create and manage the Quality Control Plan for assigned construction projects
* Review and approve submittals, including RFI's
* Communicate with clients and stakeholders to ensure quality standards are met
* Work with project teams to ensure contract requirements are met
* Develop and implement quality control procedures
Requirements:
* Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field
* Minimum 5 years' quality control experience
* USACE and/or NAVFAC project experience
* Contractor Quality Management for Contractors Certification
* Strong proficiency in QCS/RMS software applications, Internet, and Microsoft Office Suite
Working Environment:
The Construction Quality Control Manager will work in an indoor/outdoor setting with a wide variety of people in differing functions, personalities, and abilities. The employee will be required to perform climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, standing, walking, pushing, pulling, lifting, finger, grasp, feel, talk, hear, and repeat motions. Exerting up to 40 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 15 pounds of force frequently, and/or up to 10 pounds of force constantly to move objects is required. The employee is required to have close visual acuity to perform an activity such as preparing and analyzing data and figures; viewing a computer terminal; reading; visual inspection involving small defects, small parts and/or operation of machines (including inspection); using measurement devices; and/or assembly or fabrication of parts at distances close to the eyes.
