RESUMEN DEL ROL
Realiza inspecciones visuales y dimensionales de componentes moldeados y ensamblajes, registra resultados y prepara varios documentos de calidad.

TAREAS Y RESPONSABILIDADES

  • Leer planos, planes de calidad, estándares estéticos y/o especificaciones de ingeniería para obtener información del producto, como material especificado, requisitos estéticos y dimensiones.
  • Realizar una inspección visual de componentes moldeados.
  • Realizar mediciones dimensionales en componentes y ensamblajes.
  • Ingresar datos en la base de datos SPC y evaluar.
  • Realizar inspecciones en línea, en proceso, de sub-ensambles, de envío y de recepción según sea necesario.
  • Seguir las responsabilidades aplicables detalladas en los procesos relacionados con el Departamento de Calidad.

REQUISITOS MÍNIMOS Y CUALIFICACIONES

  • Diploma de secundaria o equivalente.
  • Tres años de experiencia relacionada en inspección en la industria del plástico.
  • Cinco años de experiencia general en inspección.
  • Capacidad para comunicarse efectivamente en inglés, tanto verbalmente como por escrito, al menos al nivel general de negocios requerido.
  • Habilidades en el idioma español son deseables.
  • Capacidad comprobada para utilizar herramientas de inspección básicas como micrómetros, calibradores, indicadores de dial y comparadores ópticos.
  • Capacidad para leer planos.
  • Habilidades informáticas (Word, Excel, etc.) deseadas pero no requeridas.
  • Capacidad para identificar y resolver problemas de bajo nivel de complejidad requerida.

FUNCIONES ESENCIALES Y DEMANDAS FÍSICAS

  • Se requiere agudeza visual y destreza manual para la operación de equipos de inspección.
  • Movilidad física adecuada para salir al piso de producción para recolectar muestras, comunicarse con el personal del piso, etc.
  • Entorno de oficina con exposición frecuente a niveles de ruido moderados en el nivel de producción.
  • Capacidad para levantar hasta 10 lbs ocasionalmente.

RANGO DE PAGO:
ROL NO EXEMPTO - $23/HR - $26/HR SEGÚN EXPERIENCIA
