We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Systems Engineer to join our team at Raytheon. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for investigating events, preparing and presenting results, and executing subsystem-related procedures.

Key Responsibilities

* Monitor and log system conditions
* Maintain working relationships with customers, peers, and associate contractors
* Execute subsystem-related processes
* Maintain awareness of operation status of subsystem hardware and supporting monitoring scripts

Requirements

* Active U.S. TS/SCI with CI poly security clearance
* Experience with scripting languages (SQL, TCL/TK, and/or PERL)
* Firm understanding of electronic systems, electro-mechanical systems, RF, and digital communications
* Ability to communicate clearly in written and oral settings on technical topics
* Understanding of engineering tradeoffs
* Capability of utilizing analysis methods and tools to troubleshoot various events
* Ability to learn and understand a wide application of technical theories and concepts
* Familiarity with Linux and MS Office

Preferred Qualifications

* Ability to analyze control loops
* Aptitude to learn quickly and multitask in a complex work environment
* Ability to learn in a self-directed setting while optimizing chances to gain knowledge as they come
* Ability to work in a multitasking dynamic environment under general direction
* Advanced knowledge of work area typically obtained through advanced education combined with experience

$77,000 - $163,000
