Job Summary

The Nothing Bundt Cakes - Melbourne Assistant Baker plays a vital role in ensuring the highest quality cakes are consistently produced for our guests. This position requires a strong commitment to excellence and efficiency in the workplace, as well as the ability to work effectively with the Baker to meet production demands.

Key Responsibilities
  • Follow proprietary recipes and production methods with precision to achieve productivity goals.
  • Utilize commercial-grade equipment and tools to bake cakes, including measuring instruments, mixers, and ovens.
  • Assist the Baker with preparing raw ingredients and equipment for baking, placing cake pans in the oven, and monitoring the baking process.
  • Contribute to daily baking and production flow, adhering to proper packaging, labeling, and storage of baked cakes.
  • Clean and sanitize the workstation, restock supplies, and maintain baking and refrigeration logs.
  • Comply with health and safety guidelines, company policies, and procedures, including dress code and personal hygiene standards.
  • Maintain a consistent work attendance and punctuality record.

Requirements

Work Availability

This position requires flexibility to work various shifts, including early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays, based on changing business demands.
