Radiology Supervisor

The Radiology Supervisor Multimodality is responsible for overseeing the delivery and quality of imaging services in various sections of Radiology Services. This role involves supervising, planning, organizing, and improving work processes to ensure timely, accurate, and cost-efficient services in compliance with established standards and policies.
Key Responsibilities- Oversee the delivery and quality of imaging services, including turnaround times, exam quality, and patient preparation.
- Perform procedures as needed due to workload or complexity, ensuring adequate staffing levels, supplies, and resources.
- Schedule, monitor, evaluate, and modify staffing patterns to meet clinical demands.
- Interview, counsel, and complete performance evaluations for staff.
- Train new staff and ensure all registrations and certifications are current and up-to-date.
- Partner with management to conduct multidisciplinary staff meetings and facilitate goal setting for staff.
- Monitor goals, achievements, and ensure outcomes are reflected in annual performance evaluations.
- Encourage employee participation in satisfaction surveys and develop action plans for improvement.
- Develop and maintain cooperative working relationships with physicians and other departments to gather and exchange information.
- Assist in developing, reviewing, and implementing policies, procedures, and goals to support department and system objectives.
- Graduate of an accredited program.
- 3 years of experience in radiology.
- Certified by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists or the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography in two imaging modalities, working 25% of the time in the second modality.
