Job Summary

The Baylor Scott & White Health organization is seeking a highly skilled Radiology Supervisor to join our team. As a key member of our Radiology Department, you will be responsible for overseeing the delivery and quality of imaging services, ensuring compliance with established standards and regulations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise and coordinate the work of radiology technologists and other staff members to ensure efficient and effective imaging services.
  • Develop and implement policies and procedures to improve quality and productivity in the radiology department.
  • Collaborate with physicians and other medical staff to ensure seamless communication and coordination of patient care.
  • Monitor and analyze quality metrics to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions.
  • Provide training and education to staff members to enhance their skills and knowledge.
  • Participate in shared governance and contribute to the development of departmental goals and objectives.
Requirements
  • 3 years of experience in radiology or a related field.
  • Certification by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists or the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography in two imaging modalities.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Knowledge of radiology department operations and procedures.
