Associate Director, International Market Access Strategy and Transformation

AbbVie is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Associate Director to lead our Market Access In Field Team strategy and implementation. This role will be responsible for developing and executing a clear Access in Field Team strategy, driving organizational effectiveness, and shaping the culture of the team.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and execute market access In Field Team strategy, working closely with Therapeutic Area Leaders and Market Access Directors around the world.
- Provide positive leadership and productive influence on the focus and advancement of our access in field team plans.
- Drive the implementation of in-Field team excellence to advance our payer engagement model in target markets.
- Establish the foundations for in field team excellence, including identifying common payer archetypes and aligning segmentation approaches with countries.
- Embed rigor in the use of internal IFT stakeholder platforms, evaluating current system utilization and defining needs for system evolution.
- Define and develop compelling content, including modifying VAT charters and training VAT leads on content development requirements.
- Lead a community of Market Access Directors around the world to share experiences and best practices to advance our IFTs.
- 8-10 years of pharmaceutical experience, with a strong background in market access and payer engagement.
- Experience in In Field Team management and leadership, with a proven track record of driving organizational effectiveness.
- Excellent organizational and project management skills, with the ability to influence others and build strong relationships with peers and cross-functional stakeholders.
- Global or Area experience preferred, but not essential.
- A clear understanding of how to drive impact through a matrix and the cross-functional stakeholders required to progress projects.
