We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to support students with speech, language, and communication disorders in a school-based setting.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough evaluations and assessments to diagnose speech, language, and communication disorders.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans and IEP goals based on assessment results.
- Provide direct therapy services to students in individual and group settings.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and school staff to support students' communication needs in the classroom and home environments.
- Monitor and document student progress, adjusting therapy plans as needed.
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to goal-setting and progress tracking.
- Offer guidance and resources to parents and teachers to support students' communication development outside of therapy sessions.
Qualifications:
- Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
- Valid Arizona state SLP license.
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred.
- Prior experience in a school or pediatric setting is advantageous.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and teamwork skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
