Pediatric Speech-Language Pathologist

Sonoran Sun Pediatric Therapy is seeking a highly motivated and passionate fully licensed and certified Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our team. This role is for a full-time CCC-SLP, with a focus on feeding experience.

About the Role:

  • Evaluate client's current therapeutic, rehabilitative, and functional status.
  • Implement and direct the speech therapy treatment plan of care.
  • Integrate feeding therapy into individualized treatment plans.
  • Participate in the development of the client's total multidisciplinary plan of care.
  • Regularly re-evaluate client progress and revise the plan of care as necessary.

Responsibilities:

  • Initiate the speech therapy program and assist relevant persons in certain phases of speech therapy.
  • Submit accurate clinical notes regarding patient evaluation and attainment of goals.
  • Monitor clients for reactions to treatment or changes in condition, discussing changes with the patient/family/caregiver and reporting changes as necessary.
  • Assist caregivers, families, or other healthcare personnel in providing continuity of care.
  • Comply with federal, state, and local legal and certification requirements.

Requirements:

  • Graduate of a nationally accredited Master's program in Speech-Language Pathology.
  • Granted a Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) by the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA).
  • Licensed in the state of Arizona to practice.
