Position Summary
We are looking for a Home Care Scheduler to oversee and manage scheduling operations. This crucial role is essential for delivering thorough and consistent patient care by organizing medical and health services effectively. Key Responsibilities
  • Facilitate both internal and external staffing requirements
  • Allocate caregivers to designated client shifts
  • Utilize cloud-based scheduling tools
  • Keep an updated roster of on-call and backup personnel to ensure last-minute coverage
  • Inform caregivers about any modifications or updates to their schedules
  • Communicate with management and clients regarding any scheduling or staffing adjustments
  • Assist in recruiting, training, and supervising new personnel
  • Update daily scheduling tasks
  • Handle incoming calls and emails, schedule and confirm appointments, and enter customer information into company systems
  • Provide assistance by welcoming customers, either in person or via phone, and addressing or directing inquiries
  • Support team objectives by achieving related outcomes as necessary
  • Safeguard customer confidentiality and uphold operational integrity by maintaining information privacy
Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Prior experience as a Home Care Scheduler or in a comparable role is preferred
  • Exceptional organizational skills with a keen eye for detail
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and other relevant software
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively
  • Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills
  • Professional demeanor, confidentiality, and organizational capabilities
