Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Food Service Crew Member to join our team at a Cenex Zip Trip convenience store location. As a key member of our retail team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring our customers have a positive and efficient experience during their visit.

Responsibilities
  • Provide exceptional customer service, treating customers professionally and greeting them promptly and courteously.
  • Assist customers with browsing inventory and checking out items at the counter, ensuring a seamless shopping experience.
  • Perform cashier responsibilities, including accepting payments and issuing receipts, with accuracy and efficiency.
  • Display and organize products in the store to make it easy for customers to locate what they need.
  • Maintain the appearance of the store by dusting, cleaning, and restocking merchandise on the shelves, ensuring a clean and welcoming environment.
  • Monitor customers to assist the store in loss prevention, identifying and reporting any suspicious activity.
  • Assist with preparation of displays and promotions, ensuring a visually appealing store environment.
  • Authorize gas station pump payments, ensuring accurate and efficient transactions.
  • Maintain and promote a strong safety culture, following all safety policies, training, and personal protective equipment procedures and regulations.
  • Identify and communicate workplace hazards, correcting or seeking assistance in correcting unsafe actions or conditions.
Requirements
  • 1+ years of experience in Retail and/or Retail Merchandising and Customer Service.
  • Must meet minimum age requirement.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
  • Ability to work on computers with MS Office Suite.
  • Ability to read, write, and communicate in English.
  • Basic math and computer skills to operate store equipment, such as cash registers and time and record-keeping computer systems.
  • High school diploma or GED preferred.
