Job Summary

Key Responsibilities
  • Payroll Testing and Implementation: Conduct thorough testing of SAP ECP payroll results to ensure accuracy and compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.
  • Operational Support: Provide operational support for US Payroll, including analyzing, auditing, reconciling, and resolving complex payroll processing and employee payroll issues.
  • Payroll Policy Interpretation: Interpret pay policies, including vacation, benefits, savings, LOA, disability, workers compensation, union contracts, government regulations, withholding exemptions, and ensure accurate calculations and deductions.
  • Compliance and Regulatory Requirements: Ensure payroll outputs, such as statements, reports, and payments, are compliant with company policy, generally accepted accounting principles, and federal, state, and local regulations.
  • Research and Resolution: Research and interpret federal and state regulatory requirements and resolve tax, withholding, garnishment, and wage/hour issues for payroll processing.
  • Audit and Legal Inquiries: Respond to audit, legal, and regulatory inquiries and document payroll processes and procedures.
  • System Administration: Work with system programmers to achieve solutions or administer the company payroll system with outside service providers.
Requirements
  • Experience with SAP ECP or SAP On Premises Payroll: Minimum 4 years of experience with SAP ECP or SAP On Premises Payroll, including implementation and operations.
  • In-House Payroll Experience: Experience must be with in-house payroll.
  • Education and Certifications: Bachelor's degree in a related discipline or equivalent combination of education and relevant work experience. Certified Payroll Professional (APA) certification is highly desirable.
  • Virtual Environment Experience: Experience working effectively in a virtual environment.
