Our Blood Institute is seeking a dedicated and compassionate individual to join our team as a Mobile Phlebotomy Specialist. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in providing a safe and pleasant blood donation experience for donors.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform registration, vitals, medical screening, phlebotomy, and record-keeping duties associated with whole-blood, autologous, directed, therapeutic, testing services, and research projects.
  • Strictly adhere to standard operating procedures to ensure all blood products are collected within quality standards set forth by regulatory agencies.
  • Assist supervisors in verifying and completing daily paperwork and alert them to any problems or concerns.
  • Educate donors on blood fact information and continually assess donor needs throughout the donation process.

Requirements:
  • High school degree or GED; college classes are a plus.
  • Reliable transportation, working telephone, and ability to lift 40 lbs regularly.
  • Flexibility to work a varied schedule, including early mornings, late evenings, and weekends.
