North Ridge Health and Rehab is seeking to hire a full-time and part-time Early Childhood Education Assistant to become a vital part of our dedicated team. PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Assist in the development and execution of age-appropriate educational activities that cater to the physical, emotional, and social needs of children from 6 weeks to 5 years old. Adhere to established program guidelines and protocols while working under the direct guidance of the lead teacher. Oversee classroom activities and maintain a safe environment in the absence of the teacher. It is essential to interact with residents, children, families, visitors, and colleagues in a friendly and respectful manner.

Key Duties Include:

  • Facilitating engaging activities for children.
  • Supporting classroom teachers in their daily tasks.
  • Documenting and reporting information related to children and their families.
  • Participating in childcare meetings.
  • Carrying out various other responsibilities as needed.

QUALIFICATIONS FOR AN EARLY CHILDHOOD EDUCATION ASSISTANT

• A minimum of 2 years of relevant experience is preferred.

• Educational background or certifications in Early Childhood Education is advantageous.

• A genuine enthusiasm for working with young children aged six weeks to five years.

WORK SCHEDULE
We are looking to fill a full-time position from 8:30 AM to 5 PM (Monday-Friday) and a part-time position from 1 PM to 5 PM (Monday-Friday).
