Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Safety Sales Professional to join our team in the South/Southwest Milwaukee territory. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of generating new business opportunities through prospecting and cold calling, with a focus on building strong relationships with decision-makers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop new business leads through targeted sales initiatives and lead generation tools.
  • Present the Thompson Safety value proposition to potential customers and close new business deals.
  • Utilize CRM technology to document sales activity and track results.
  • Assist in marketing programs/initiatives to build brand awareness and establish best practices.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
  • A minimum of 2 years of outside sales experience in a blue-collar or industrial sales environment.
  • Proven skills in prospecting new business, closing new business, and building rapport with decision-makers.
  • Experience using a CRM system to document sales activity and track results.
