Job Title: Family Time Coordinator

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Family Time Coordinator to join our team at the Oregon Department of Human Services. As a Family Time Coordinator, you will play a critical role in supporting vulnerable children and families by coordinating and supervising family time visits.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Family Time Planning: Collaborate with caseworkers to plan and coordinate family time visits, ensuring the safety and well-being of children.
  • Supervision and Support: Supervise family time visits in an office or community setting, providing emotional support and guidance to families.
  • Documentation and Communication: Accurately document family time interactions and communicate relevant information to caseworkers and other stakeholders.
  • Transportation and Logistics: Assist with transporting children to family time visits and other necessary appointments.
  • Collaboration and Teamwork: Work closely with caseworkers, families, and other stakeholders to achieve the best possible outcomes for children and families.

Requirements:

  • Experience: One year of experience assisting professionals in specialized social programs, such as family services, children services, or senior services.
  • Education: Possession of a current certification in child development, early childhood education, or a related field.
  • Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse populations.
