Senior Physician Leader in Liver Transplant Medicine

The Oregon Health & Science University is seeking a highly skilled Medical Director of Liver Transplant to lead our liver transplant program in the Division of Gastroenterology and Hepatology.
Key Responsibilities- Provide leadership for the liver transplant program in collaboration with other leaders at OHSU.
- Develop and implement strategies to grow and improve the clinical effort for assessing patients for liver transplant and listing appropriate patients for liver transplant.
- Provide patient care in the Hepatology clinic and attend on the Hepatology consult service.
- Share night/weekend call responsibilities with other GI/Hepatology faculty members.
- Teach medical students, residents, and GI fellows.
- 5+ years of experience as a practicing Transplant Hepatologist at an accredited Liver Transplant Center.
- Board certification in Gastroenterology and board eligibility or certification in Transplant Hepatology.
- Completion of a course of advanced training in Transplant Hepatology.
- Unrestricted Oregon medical license or ability to obtain.
- Advanced training in medical education.
- Individuals of diverse backgrounds and experiences are highly encouraged to apply.
